Hi,

I had a situation with an enteral pump yesterday that kept alarming Flow error.  I tried several things:  Bag switched out, bags raised way above pump, pump switched out.  I then called Cardinal Health 877-227-3462 the company that does technical support for the Kangaroo pumps.  They suggested the food was too thick and to add water to the formula (Osmolite 1.5)  Actually, after all of that it was because the pump set was hooked up to the wrong y port.  Husband had it hooked up to the med port.  So check for that if you are having a flow error.  

Cardinal Health is excellent and stated that I should give the patient their number because they prefer to troubleshoot with the person at the machine.  I thought that was nice of them.  So I would recommend giving the Cardinal Health # out at each Kangaroo set-up. (877) 227-3462.
