White or pink film in humidifier water chamber

Bacteria can quickly develop in the water chamber. All manufacturers recommend the use of distilled water. Tap water may be used on occasion. Each morning, empty any leftover water, rinse chamber and let air dry. To remove film, fill chamber with 1/2 white distilled vinegar to 1/2 tap water solution. Let soak for one hour. Rinse with clear tap water, air dry.
