Do you qualify for a new device?

Every health insurance provider is different, but many of them follow the guidelines established by Medicare for CPAP supplies and replacement. If you don't qualify for a new device, you may want to consider AirMini™, which serves as a perfect secondary or portable CPAP and makes traveling with CPAP easier.

For CPAP devices, here are the Medicare guidelines:

Device is more than 5 years old

Medicare will consider covering replacement of a device past the five-year lifetime in cases of irreparable wear if the item has been in continuous use by the patient for the equipment’s useful lifetime.

Device is less than 5 years old

Medicare will consider covering replacement of a device before its five-year lifetime expires if the item is lost, irreparably damaged, or the patient’s medical condition changes and the item no longer satisfies the medical needs of the patient.
