I have white scaling in my water chamber.

A white powder or scaling is caused by using tap water instead of distilled water. This can usually be cleaned out using a vinegar solution of 1/2 part water and 1/2 part white vinegar. Pour the solution into the chamber and allow to sit for 30 min. After soaking use a small brush to remove the residual calcium.
