My CPAP/BIPAP has stopped working. What should I do?


If you own your CPAP/BIPAP

 

1.Call Carelinc and schedule an appointment to have our clinician take a look at it.

 

2.Call you physician and ask her/him to send an order for repair or replace CPAP or BIPAP to CareLinc.

Note that post physicians will not write an order for you unless you have followed up with them within a year.

If you have not followed up with your physician and are asked to schedule an appointment for follow-up, call us and let us know the situation. We may be able to arrange for temporary a rental/loaner device.

 

3.Once we receive the physician's order we will:

We will send your device to the manufacturer and obtain an estimate for repair. (This can take up to one month)

Once we receive the estimate for repair, we will contact your insurance provider to see if they want to repair or replace your device.

We will contact you to have you pick up your repaired device or schedule an appointment to introduce you to your new device.


If your CPAP/BIPAP is less than two years old

 

1.Call Carelinc and schedule an appointment to have our clinician take a look at it.

If the clinician determines that the device needs to be replaced under warranty, we will replace the device.
