I woke up and there is water all over my night stand. What is wrong?
In most of these cases you have at some point in the past run out of water in your humidifier chamber. When your chamber runs out of water the bottom of the chamber may over heat. This can cause the metal component to separate from the plastic and cause it to leak water with subsequent use. It is nearly impossible to see the separation! Many times this happens when the unit is used more that eight hours in one night. Especially if the humidity setting is 4 or above.
The chamber is not reparable and must be replaced.
Remember that most insurance companies will allow you to replace the chamber every six months.
